It was an intense encounter between the Utah Jazz and the Denver Nuggets in Game 6 of their first-round playoffs encounter on Sunday. This turned out to be a back-and-forth contest, which was naturally not short of heated moments — one of which involving Jazz big man Rudy Gobert and a chair.

Gobert was not exactly pleased during one specific juncture in the contest, and he decided to take out his frustration on an innocent chair on the bench:

It was the Nuggets that came away with a huge win on the evening, 119-107, thanks to another tremendous performance by Denver guard Jamal Murray. The 23-year-old has been cooking all series long, and he comes up with another amazing performance on Sunday, finishing with 50 points on 17-of-24 shooting, five rebounds, and six assists in 43 minutes of play. Murray also drained nine triples in this one, en route to his second 50-point performance in his first six playoff outings this season.

For his part, Rudy Gobert posted an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double, along with a steal, and one block. As expected, it was Donovan Mitchell who carried Utah in Game 6, as the 6-foot-1 guard logged 44 points on 14-of-25 shooting, with six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Mitchell also made nine triples in the contest, as he had another one-on-one duel with Murray on the offensive end.

With the victory, the Nuggets have now forced a pivotal, win-or-go-home Game 7. This deciding contest is scheduled for Tuesday, with the winner of that contest progressing to the next round to face the Los Angeles Clippers.
