The Nuggets won Game 7 by only two points to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs. The Jazz blew a 3-1 series lead and will have to swallow that tough pill for the entire offseason.
NBA fans had so much fun watching Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell duel each other. The two youngsters are going to be special players in the league for a long time.
The Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the playoffs. The Jazz, meanwhile, face some tough decisions this offseason after getting bounced in the first round for the second consecutive season. Utah lost to the Houston Rockets in the 2019 playoffs.
You had to feel for Mitchell at the end of Game 7. He was visibly upset after turning the ball over with 10.4 seconds left and was heartbroken when Conley's game-winning attempt went in and out. Sometimes, sports can just be brutal.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Nuggets fare against the Clippers in the second round. NBA fans are certainly hoping for another seven-game series.
