Nikola Jokic has had a breakout year this season with the Denver Nuggets, leading his team to a 31-26 record just prior to the All-Star break. In the first half of their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night, that breakout continued as he achieved an insane triple double feat.

In the first half of the game, the Serbian Jokic came up with 16 points, 10 rebounds, as well as 10 assists, and the stat itself sets a number of records. First off, Jokic just became the fastest player to record a triple-double in the last 20 seconds, needing just over 22 minutes of game time to achieve it. Second, Jokic actually nabbed the fastest triple double in NBA history, needing just 14 minutes and 33 seconds of playing time to achieve it.
Nikola Jokic just recorded the fastest triple-double in NBA history (14:33).
Previous record was 17 minutes back in 1955 by Jim Tucker.

He is helped by a game that is having a ridiculously fast pace. The Bucks and the Nuggets combined for 136 points in the first half, so expect a lot of high point totals to come out of this game.
Jokic has had a really nice year so far this year. On the season he is averaging 16.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists. He is shooting 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from deep.
He, however, wasn't selected for the All-Star game as a starter, reserve, or injury replacement. If he keeps playing like this though, it won't be long before he will be representing the Denver Nuggets at All-Star weekend year-in and year-out.
