Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic continues to perform feats that no 7-footer should be capable of doing. Against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, The Joker once again went deep into his bag of tricks for this game-sealing, highlight play.
With 1:05 left in regulation, Jokic put defender Steven Adams in the spin cycle on his way to the rim. Seeing help defender Brandon Ingram closing in on him, the slotman from Serbia evaded him as well with a nifty euro step before finishing the lay-up.

Sure, that euro may have been a tad slower than what we're used to seeing from NBA guards, but not a lot of centers can perform that move in the clutch. That bucket ignited a 22-8 run for the Nuggets, allowing Denver to escape with a 113-106 win at Smoothie King Arena.
Sure is nice to have the MVP on our side.

Jokic, who has emerged as a frontrunner for the MVP plum since the All-Star break, finished with 37 points, nine assists, six rebounds, two steals, and one block. The Nuggets big man shot 17-for-30 from the field and drilled three of his five 3-pointers in 41 minutes. The 26-year-old center is truly enjoying the best season of his basketball career.
We've heard all about Jokic's shortcomings from an athletic standpoint, which he even joked about numerous times in the past. Still, nobody has found a way to solve the Joker's puzzle, especially when he puts on displays such as this one.
