Nikola Jokic missed Marcus Morris in the Denver Nuggets' win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night. But he didn't miss the opportunity to deliver another memorable performance.

Jokic led the Nuggets to the close 103-100 victory to improve to 16-16, finishing with monster numbers of 26 points, 22 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks. To say that he did everything once again would be a gross understatement. As gross as a potato salad with raisins.

With yet another MVP performance, Jokic now has six 20-20 games, beating the previous Nuggets record set by Marcus Camby.

Jokic also became the first player to register back-to-back games with 25+ points, 20+ rebounds, and 5+ assists since NBA legend Charles Barkley did it for the Philadelphia 76ers in 1988. Jokic had 29 points and 25 rebounds in their loss to the Charlotte Hornets last Thursday.

It's almost a travesty that Jokic isn't being mentioned enough in MVP conversations this season due to the Nuggets' pedestrian record. But he's almost single-handedly kept the team afloat, even without fellow stars Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.

In fact, according to StatMuse, Jokic is currently aving the greatest PER season in NBA history.

It's crazy to think that Jokic's genius is still quite understated. He may not be as flashy as other NBA superstars but the Nuggets would be blasted into pieces without him. Even Morris, the twin brother of his previous foe, should agree.

The Nuggets will have another tough test on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors.
