Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is not one bit concerned about losing Game 1 of their playoff series with the Golden State Warriors. However, the Serbian big man has one huge challenge to his teammates if they want to win.

In his postgame presser after the 123-107 defeat, Jokic reminded his Nuggets teammates that they should not feel pressured. It's not the first time they lost in a Game 1 of a playoffs series anyway. Nonetheless, the way they played is a different matter and something they should reflect on.

“The pressure is not on us. We are underdogs. But we got to act like dogs and fight,” Jokic said of the loss to the Warriors, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

Nikola Jokic surely makes a valid point here. It's still Game 1 of the series, and it's always hard to win on the road in the postseason. What's more concerning, though, is the fact that they didn't put up a fight against the Warriors and let them dominate.

Jordan Poole had his way against the Nuggets with 30 points, and that is all while Stephen Curry played in limited minutes. For the Nuggets to win with their depleted roster, they need to play hard from start to finish.

As Jokic said it, they have to act like dogs and show that hunger to win.

The Nuggets play the Warriors in Game 2 on Tuesday. Sure enough, they'll be hoping to get one win before taking the series home for Games 3 and 4.
