Elton Brand has been around for a long time.
While some may have thought that Brand had retired already, the former two-time All-Star actually came out of retirement in the middle of the season when he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on January 4th. Although he was signed for two months, Brand did not make his season debut until March 4th versus the Miami Heat.
Although the 37-year-old came out of retirement just a few months ago, it would seem that it was only temporary. Brand was recently asked if he will play next season and he gave a short, but clear answer on his future:

The former No. 1 overall pick managed to carve out a 17-year career in the NBA following a stellar two-year tenure at the University of Duke. Brand led the Blue Devils to a National Championship Game and was named the consensus National College Player of the Year in 1999.
The veteran power forward has averaged 4.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in 17 contests this season.
While he wasn't the dominant force that many expected, he was one of the most consistent threats in the paint throughout the decade of the 2000s before injuries slowed him down.
