Though only one Conference Finals series has been decided in the 2019 NBA Playoffs, the league released the full schedule for what should be a scintillating series between the Golden State Warriors and the winner of the Toronto Raptors/Milwaukee Bucks Eastern Conference Finals battle, which is ongoing.

The schedule was released by the NBA, then shared by Marc Spears of ESPN.

As you can see, the first game of the NBA Finals will take place on Thursday, May 30 – giving the Warriors a solid 10 days off between series (perhaps bringing up the rest vs. rust debate). The Warriors certainly looked sprightly as they dismantled the Blazers in disheartening fashion – defeating Portland in four straight games despite being down big in each game of the series.

Even without Kevin Durant, who remains out with a calf strain, the Warriors have rolled through the playoffs, including defeating their fiercest rival, the Houston Rockets, without KD in the previous round.

Things get even more favorable for the Warriors if the Raptors/Bucks series goes the distance in the East. If the series makes it all the way to seven games, Game 7 between the two teams will be played on May 27 – only 3 days before the Finals are slated to begin.

That would certainly give Golden State a massive advantage in the rest category, but this team has been known to get complacent at times. However, with Durant’s status still up in the air for the team, it has been playing with a certain joie de vivre that typified the team’s run to the Finals before Durant’s arrival.
