During an intense Game 4 of the NBA Finals, tempers and emotions were running high all around, but that didn't stop the 6-foot-3, 175-pound head coach Steve Kerr from flinching upon seeing a hulking referee Marc Davis suddenly turn around to face him.

“I've had enough of you, Steve!”
Davis, who's in his 20th season as an NBA official, is one of the most-chiseled zebra presences in the association, which is often a requirement when trying to handle 7-footers from banging heads with each other — though it can prove scary for a smaller man like Kerr. As the league continually develops into a troop of players stronger than ever before (despite Kerr's sarcastic take), NBA officials must adapt and become even more intense. If you asked Kerr back in the 90s about NBA officiating when he was a part of the Chicago Bulls, he would probably have an interesting reaction if he was put in this same position.
The Golden State Warriors coach was one tech away from being tossed from the game and have his assistant, Mike Brown, put on the cape again for this team; though things calmed down a lot more after the blowout seemed inevitable for both sides.
