JaVale McGee is having too much fun with the Golden State Warriors that if it was up to him, he would spend the remainder of his NBA career in the Bay Area. McGee, who is soon going to become an unrestricted free agent, said that he does not see himself wearing any other uniform in the future besides the Warriors’ threads, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.

JaVale McGee has been with the Warriors over the past two seasons, in both of which he became a back-to-back champion mostly as a reserve big man for the team.
McGee played for four different teams before finding a home in Golden State, as the Warriors appear to be the first team to learn how to harness the athletic big man’s abilities. Before arriving in Oakland, McGee had stints with the Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Dallas Mavericks. After getting waived by Dallas in 2016, the Warriors signed McGee to a cheap one-year deal worth $1.4 million. They renewed the center again last year, giving McGee a one-year $2.12 million contract.
The Warriors are expected to sign Kevin Durant to a max salary, which could mean McGee may not be accommodated by Golden State anymore. In that case, McGee will leave Golden State with two rings and unforgettable memories from a two-year ride with one of the most dominant teams to ever compete in the NBA.
