Golden State Warriors majority owner Joe Lacob has been at the forefront of the franchise's transformation into a champion dynasty. With the superstars that they have hauled into the team, Lacob says that he wouldn't understand if someone didn't want to be a part of the franchise.

Mark Medina of The Mercury News wrote a column about Lacob's confidence in re-signing Kevin Durant next year and his expectations for the star-studded Warriors.

“I have no doubt we have a great organization and a great place to play. We’re going to a new arena next year. I don’t know why anybody wouldn’t want to be a part of it,” Lacob said. “We’ll continue to always treat all our players really well so they always want to be a part of this team whether they’re under contract or not under contract.”

The Warriors have won the championship three times in the last four years. Aside from keeping their core intact, the team has also successfully lured Durant and DeMarcus Cousins to the fold. Rumors are circulating that Durant is planning to sign elsewhere next year, but Lacob is not worried at all.

But the Golden State front office is not just about signing big names in free agency. The team has been known for making its own players happy, an underestimated factor on why the Warriors have been playing the best basketball in franchise history.

Even when Stephen Curry went down with successive ankle injuries early in his career, the Warriors never lost faith in him. Curry would go on to win two MVPs, an ultimate example on how Lacob and the Warriors organization have been making the right moves in recent years.
