Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals was anything but enjoyable for the Golden State Warriors. Not only did they fall behind again to the Boston Celtics but Stephen Curry had a major injury scare late in the game. Al Horford landed on his left foot while fighting for a loose ball late in the fourth quarter, causing concern for his availability in the next game of the series.

Fortunately, Curry seems to be just fine. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Curry will not need an MRI on his foot and will be able to practice this afternoon. It sounds like the Warriors' superstar will be ready to go for Game 4 on Friday.

Losing Curry would have been disastrous for Golden State. He is leading the team with 31.3 points per game (while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 48.6 percent from 3-point territory) and has been the only consistent scorer so far for the Dubs. His 2.7 steals per game lead the series, as does his scoring average by a wide margin. His 3-point shooting continues to be historically great but he finds himself in a 1-2 series hole at the moment.

The Warriors need to figure out how to get everyone else around Stephen Curry going. Although the superstar point guard also needs to do his part by standing his ground better on defense, the offense around him has stalled awfully at times, especially late in the game. Golden State has to rectify the issue but fortunately will have their best player available to help as they look to even the NBA Finals at two games apiece.
