Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry passed Phoenix Suns guard Jamal Crawford for fifth place on the NBA's all-time 3-pointers made list.

Curry bombed away at Oracle Arena on Wednesday night, burying a season-high 11 trifectas against the Washington Wizards en route to a 51-point night, passing Crawford with his third trey of the night during an explosive shooting clinic.

Crawford did make a 3-pointer in the Suns' 131-113 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, but chances are he'll stay behind on this list, given Curry's ridiculous scoring pace and 3-point prowess.

The Warriors superstar needs only 53 more to pass Kyle Korver and move into the fourth spot and 121 to pass Jason Terry for third — a doable feat given Korver's scarce minutes with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Terry currently being out of the league at 41 years old.

The two players atop the list, Ray Allen and Reggie Miller, have both been enshrined as Hall of Famers, making this undoubtedly a feat to be considered as Curry shoots to reach the top spot in the history books.

Wednesday's game was the sixth game of his career in which Curry made 11 or more 3s, a feat that Kobe Bryant, Kyrie Irving, J.R. Smith, Deron Williams, Dennis Scott, Donyell Marshall and teammate Klay Thompson have only done once in their careers.

Curry is surely on pace to become the all-time 3-point king. Barring injury, it doesn't seem like there's much that can stop him from eventually getting a hold of the throne — one that would cap a plethora of long-range accolades he has accumulated throughout his 10-year career in the league.
