Stephen Curry officially cemented himself as a legend after leading the Golden State Warriors to their fourth title in eight years, beating the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. He also finally captured a Finals MVP, something the guard had yet to win in his phenomenal career.

Steph has been getting lots of praise from players across the league, with Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert the latest star to give his respects to the Warriors icon. In the Frenchman's eyes, Steph is absolutely in the conversation as one of the great of all time now.

Per TMZ Sports:

“He's definitely in the very rarified air,” Gobert said out at LAX on Friday. “He's at the top of the list, for sure.”

The reporter did ask Rudy Gobert if he believed Curry was in the starting five of GOATs, but he didn't give a definitive answer. Nonetheless, Steph is definitely in the top-10 now. What he just did for the Warriors in the Finals proved just that.

In the series, Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 43 percent from downtown. He became only the third player ever to average over 30 in the Finals on multiple occasions, joining Michael Jordan and Jerry West.

Although he did put the Dubs on his back at various moments, they also played as a true collective unit. Andrew Wiggins played out of his mind, Klay started to find his groove, and Draymond Green did his thing in the latter part of the series on both ends of the floor.

Congrats to Stephen Curry and the Warriors.
