Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry did something in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors that he hasn't done before.

Curry has had to carry the bulk of the scoring load for the team early on due to the numerous injuries that they're dealing with.

But he has more than stepped up through one half of play, as the Warriors only trail by eight mostly due to his incredible playmaking abilities.

And they were enough to fuel him to 25 points through the first half, which was the most he's scored in a half in an NBA Finals game during his career, according to ESPN.

Given how many NBA Finals games Curry has played in, it's pretty clear that he understood how important it was for him to set the tone for the Warriors early on.

With Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson both sidelined due to injuries, it became evident that Curry would need to have a monster game in order for Golden State to regain the series lead.

Of course, the Raptors will likely make adjustments in the second half, which means that the Warriors may need others to increase their scoring load.

But if Curry continues his aggressive mindset, he should be able to give his team a chance at getting the win.
