Stephen Curry is a man of many talents. He's the greatest shooter of all-time, a three-time NBA champion, two-time MVP, and countless other awards. There's no question that the Golden State Warriors superstar can do nearly everything on the court. Nothing is impossible with Curry on the floor.

But what if Curry was placed in a completely different situation? Could he still succeed? According to his former college coach, there's one field he'd find success in: politics. Bob McKillop, the Warriors star's coach at Davidson, believes that Stephen Curry has the chops to become the president of the United States. (via Enterprise Record)

“I joke with him all the time about being president because we need a leader like this guy in the White House. As crazy as that sounds, if you look at the way he’s led this organization [Warriors], this city, this global community that NBA basketball is apart of, he’s been a leader out front in a very quiet, consistent, distinguished, graceful way. Isn’t that what we need leading our world?”

Athletes entering politics have happened before… to varying results. Curry has proven himself to be a great leader on an NBA team, as he has been the Warriors' foundation through thick and thin. He says all the right things and follows through with his actions. However, as great as that is for Curry's character… it's not all that's needed to run an entire country.

Having said all this, it's entirely possible that Curry will prove us wrong and be a competent man in the White House. The man has built his entire career on proving his doubters wrong. His “overreliance” on the three-ball was seen as a weakness, but that has propelled him to great heights (surpassing other greats in the process). Who knows? Maybe Stephen Curry would make a good president.
