On Monday, Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo underwent successful surgery in Miami to repair a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee. The Pacers' staff sent a lot of love to their franchise player to see him through.

Oladipo suffered the injury last Wednesday during a win over the Toronto Raptors and had to be taken off of the court on a stretcher.

It marked the second time this season that Oladipo has dealt with knee issues. Back on Nov. 17 during a win over the Atlanta Hawks, Oladipo injured his right knee and exited after just five minutes.

He proceeded to miss the next 11 games, with some speculating that he could be out for the season.

Oladipo eventually returned on Dec. 12, scoring 12 points in 29 minutes in a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. However, it was obvious that the 26-year-old was not the same since coming back, as he shot just 40.8 percent from the floor in December and was shooting a mere 40.5 percent this month before going down with the injury.

On the season overall, Oladipo was averaging 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.7 steals over 31.9 minutes per game while shooting 42.3 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free-throw line.

Oladipo arrived in Indiana during the summer of 2017 after coming over in the trade that sent Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Silver Spring, Md. native then went on to have a breakout year during his first season with the Pacers, registering 23.1 points per game en route to making his first All-Star team and winning the NBA's Most Improved Player award.
