On Monday, the NBA announced that Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo and Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard have been named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 24 of the 2017-18 season (from March 26 to April 1).

Oladipo was on fire for most of the week led his to a 3-0 week, averaging 26.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 3.7 steals, and 2.3 three-pointers per game on 67.4 percent shooting from the field and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Oladipo started the week scoring 24 points against the Warriors in a road win. He then followed it up with 24 points against the Sacramento Kings, and 30 points to go along with 12 assists as well as five steals against the LA Clippers in another road victory, their third of the week.

Lillard led his #Blazers to a 3-1 week averaging 28.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.3 three pointers per game on 46.9% shooting from the field and 26% from beyond the arc.

Lillard had a far more interesting week. He pu up 41 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals against the New Orleans Pelicans to start the week off before flying back home for the birth of his son. He subsequently missed the Blazers' loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, but came back after the one game absence to put in 17 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists in a win over the Clippers as well as 27 points, three rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in a win over the Grizzlies.

Only a week and a half remains in the NBA's regular season, and teams are certainly beginning to gear up for the NBA postseason. Both Lillard's Blazers and Oladipo's Pacers have clinched playoff spots as of Sunday night, and both will look to lead their teams into the playoffs starting Saturday, April 14th.
