Indiana Pacers head coach Nate McMillan had a funny message to Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of Thursday's showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks.

McMillan is hoping Antetokounmpo will miss Thursday's showdown because of the birth of his first child. Antetokounmpo has already missed one game, however, it's unlikely he'll miss Thursday's game.

Nonetheless, The Pacers have played horrendous the last six games. They're currently on a six-game losing streak, their longest losing streak since 2015.

After Monday's disappointing 106-105 loss against the Brooklyn Nets, McMillan spoke out about the team:

“We’re not getting it done. We’re doing some good things, but when it comes down to the clutch in the fourth quarter, those last five minutes, we’re not making plays,” McMillan said. “We’ve gotta make breaks, we’ve been doing it all season long, but these last five games, we haven’t. We’ve got to make stops and got to put the ball in the basket, and that hasn’t happened for us.”

Nonetheless, the Pacers are surprisingly still in playoff contention. They're currently the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-23.
The last time the Pacers played the Bucks was back in December. The Pacers did an exceptional job guarding Antetokounmpo as he finished off with 18 points and shot 47 percent from the field. However, the Pacers lost that game with a final score of 117-89.
The Pacers will be playing in its final game before All-Star Weekend. When they return, they'll go on a two-game road trip against the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors.
