With the Slam Dunk Contest only a few days away, some of their participants have already started warming up for the event. After seeing Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell throw down a big-time dunk on Saturday, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo was not to be outdone. He also gave fans a sneak-peek of what he’s capable of doing in their game on Sunday against the New York Knicks.

During the final minute of the second quarter, Oladipo ran a fastbreak together with his teammate Thaddeus Young, who completed the steal on the defensive end. He then passed the ball to Oladipo who pulled off an impressive two-handed 360-dunk which drew a loud cheer from the home fans inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

More importantly, he has led the Pacers to become one of the surprise teams in the NBA this campaign and has made it possible for them to be one of the top eight teams in the Eastern Conference with a current record of 31-25, good for sixth place.

Now that he has reminded the fans of how creative he can be in dunking the ball, the anticipation is sure to rise as everyone is expecting a competitive contest on All-Star Saturday Night as Oladipo goes up against some of the best high-flyers in the league today like Mitchell, Larry Nance Jr. of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dennis Smith Jr. of the Dallas Mavericks.
