Ever since he was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in 2010 with the third pick, Favors has been a solid NBA talent. He is a traditional big man with a post game and some athleticism, who is currently averaging 12.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists with the Utah Jazz. Over the years, Favors has become a regular contributor to his team, while some may argue that he is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. Still, there are some relentless rumors that Favors absolutely won't re-sign with the Jazz and move on somewhere else.
Apparently, someone didn't fill Favors in on the memo, and he instantly shut down a report of him 100 percent leaving the Jazz at the end of the season.
Not true at all https://t.co/13T3SJxJfG

Favors is normally very mild-mannered and soft-spoken so this Twitter exchange is definitely bizarre. Still, there could be a hidden meaning as to what Favors meant. The report Favors was mentioning stated that he was certainly going to leave the Jazz. Favors could have just been refuting this comment while acknowledging that anything is a possibility. After all, it's sometimes not the player's choice to re-sign with a team. The team has to commit to him first. Next, this report could mean that Favors will become a part of the Jazz's long-term goals, especially since he is a constant topic in trade rumors.
In any case, the Jazz are currently 10th in the Western Conference. On Tuesday, they will face the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Hopefully, Favors can help his team pull off the upset.
