The Sacramento Kings fell to a disappointing loss on Saturday night against another struggling team in the L.A. Clippers, 97-95 loss.

Following a go-ahead tough fadeaway jumper by Blake Griffin with 3.2 seconds remaining in the game, Buddy Hield attempted what would have been a game-tying shot, but it did not exactly go as planned in any fashion.

Things had some promise initially from the inbounds pass as Hield came off a high screen and had got the ball rolling with momentum to the basket, but it quickly went downhill from that point on.

He drew the coverage of DeAndre Jordan, who is one of the best defensive big men in the league, and could drive no closer to the basket than mid-range where he threw up an awkward-looking shot from 17 feet away with his left hand.

Instead of attempting a more typical shot, Buddy Hield decided to shoot a one-handed shot with his left hand over the outstretched arm of Jordan. This all made for a terrible miss that was way off the mark being an air ball that left some fans amazed at how poorly the shot was missed.

Simply put, this one play put a huge damper on what was an impressive performance off the bench for Hield where he scored a team-high 27 points behind a career-high seven 3-pointers made.
