The New York Knicks' $71-million-man Tim Hardaway Jr. was getting some work in with Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade a week ago in Los Angeles, according to the latter's Instagram post on Tuesday.

Wade has become somewhat of a mentor during the last few years of his career and has taken some players under his wing during the offseason.

Hardaway has come back to the Knicks after two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, this time carrying a multi-million dollar burden on his shoulders, looking to live up to his hefty contract as a starting shooting guard this season.

The Michigan product averaged a career-high 14.5 points per game last season and has improved his defense drastically since the last time he called Madison Square Garden his home.

Whether the Knicks can count with Carmelo Anthony to start the season or not, they'll look to have Hardaway as a flamethrower-type scorer that can fill it up at a moment's notice.

Wade's robust offensive repertoire should serve as a crafty arsenal for the 25-year-old to take his all-around game to the next level.
