Since the start of the season, Brandon Ingram has turned a lot of heads with his vastly improved play. His aggressiveness on both ends of the floor has been very evident, which the Los Angeles Lakers are continuing to benefit from. Many have been wondering who inspires him to be better and which players in the league he studies to also become as good as them.

The 20-year-old recently shared that he watches both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant, and tries to emulate them. He then added, via Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, that he enjoys seeing the Milwaukee Bucks forward attack the basket and the Golden State Warriors star hit a pull-up jumper.

“There are a lot of guys around the league, whether they’re smaller players or bigger players. Whether it’s watching Giannis [Antetokounmpo] going to the rim, whether it’s watching KD with his pull-up jumper, whether it’s watching Shaun Livingston with his post work and ability to shoot over guys… I try to watch anyone else who has the size and length to shoot over other guys, like I have. You can take bits and pieces away from watching those guys.”

Like Ingram, both aforementioned stars are naturals at the small forward spot, and also have crazy wingspans, which gives them a distinct advantage over their defenders. While Antetokounmpo and Durant have both established themselves as two of the best players in the league today, the second-year player has shown that he could play at the same level as them in the future.

Ingram is slowly adding more weapons to his already impressive arsenal. If he'll be able to master moves from the two All-Star forwards, it can be expected that he'll make a name for himself as more than just a rising star in the league and will continue to be one of the Lakers' key players moving forward.
