It had been a journey for Doncic, as he was surprisingly traded by the Dallas Mavericks, a team where it seemed he would be for the rest of his career. Many rumors came out about Doncic and why the Mavericks decided to trade him, with one of them being because of conditioning concerns.

Since then, Doncic has had a body transformation, and he looks slimmer than he has in years past. If he can keep this conditioning going into the season with the Lakers, it may reduce his chances of getting injured while also elevating his play.
