The Los Angeles Lakers were able to snap a two-game skid on Sunday night at the Staples Center with Lonzo Ball and company coming out on top against the visiting Denver Nuggets. Not only was Ball able to break out of his recent slump with the second triple-double of his career, but the team's all-around performance was impressive.

After practice on Monday, head coach Luke Walton talked about the Lakers dishing out a season-high 36 assists and his thoughts on the squad's all-around play in their seventh win of the season.

“It was the most complete game we've played in a while,” Walton said.

The Lakers were firing on all cylinders on their home floor with the team having a commanding lead for most of the game. Ball got his teammates involved with 11 of the 36 assists dished out while also ripping down a career-high 16 rebounds.

Walton believes the team's ball movement against the Nuggets was the best he's seen from this squad thus far.

“Obviously, moving the ball I thought was the best of the season so far,” Walton said. “The way we're sharing it, total passes and all those things, but I'm very happy with the performance last night.”

The real question moving forward is whether this new-look Lakers roster can play at this level on a consistent basis. The young team has shown a lot of promise in the early going, but they've yet to prove this kind of performance can be counted on night in and night out throughout the grind of an 82-game season.

The Lakers will try to keep the momentum going on Tuesday as they're set to host the Chicago Bulls at the Staples Center before heading up north to take on the division rival Sacramento Kings on Wednesday ahead the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
