It's been a long time since Shaquille O'Neal has played in an NBA basketball game.

Given that fact, it's safe to assume that it's been at least that long since he successfully performed a slam dunk.

But that doesn't matter because O'Neal wanted to celebrate the upcoming jersey retirement ceremony of Kobe Bryant by doing the one thing he could: replicating a list of Bryant's top 10 dunks of his 20-year career.

The list consisted of various one-handers that Bryant stuffed over taller defenders, including Dwight Howard and Ben Wallace. The list also had some of the more acrobatic dunks of Kobe's career, like the one he used to win the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest.

And O'Neal, bless his heart, tried to recreate all of them. Well, exactly all. He skipped one or two.

But watching O'Neal actually try to compete some of Bryant's historic dunks was both hilarious and truly sad. O'Neal can barely get off the floor anymore, and he's so uncoordinated nowadays that he is just falling all over the place.

O'Neal clearly participated in this segment to get a few laughs, and that was accomplished. But it would've been better watching him actually complete some of the dunks.
