Luke Walton seems to have support from every corner regarding his new job.
This time, it’s from friend, and former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jordan Farmar.
Farmar spoke with lakersnation.com at the 16th Annual Harold And Carole Pump Foundation Gala at The Beverly Hilton, and talked about what players can expect under new heach coach Walton.
If you don’t know Luke it’s hard to explain, just him, his personality, the way he’s going to interact with the team. He really has a high basketball IQ and understands the game. He’ll make it fun, enjoyable, easy and he’ll be on their team. It’s not going to be like a dictatorship with Luke, he’s going to lead with positive energy.
Farmar continued his endorsement of Walton by saying he is one of the best people the young Lakers could be under.

There seems to be nothing but glowing reviews coming from everyone who has anything to say from their time with Walton, whether it is from a friend or a teammate, they all believe he is the perfect young coach for the job.
That does not mean the Lakers will not need patience and time to grow, because there will be growing pains and adjustments from everyone including Walton, who is coming from a championship level program to a rebuilding one.
Farmar’s suggestion to that is to enjoy the ride. You can watch his interview below.
