Newly-crowned NBA champion Kevin Durant empathized with recently crowned Las Vegas Summer League Championship Game MVP Kyle Kuzma after his championship celebration.
Kuzma earned the honors after posting a 30-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Lakers' 110-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers — adding to the hype of the youth-infused purple-and-gold.
Durant quoted his post-celebratory reaction after receiving the championship and MVP trophy.

Oh yea "you can call me anything but don't forget to call me an MVP and a champ"-Kuzma

Durant wasn't even an MVP candidate during the regular season but took his game to the next level series after series, culminating in a 35.2 points per game average in a 4-1 NBA Finals win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While the way it happened might be debated by many, the championship and MVP award will remain in the books for him, a sentiment which the Utah standout now shares after his first pro success.
