The Los Angeles Lakers were able to sneak away with a victory on Wednesday night in overtime against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After Wednesday's overtime thriller, Kyle Kuzma revealed the advice that LeBron James gave him about being tired, via Spectrum's Mike Trudell.
Kuzma said he learned this from LeBron:
"Being tired is just in your head … that dude’s a beast. If he says he doesn’t get tired, he doesn’t get tired."

On Wednesday, Anthony Davis missed his second consecutive game with an Achilles injury. Even though the Lakers were facing a shorthanded Thunder squad in both games without Davis, they found themselves in overtime in both contests.
As a result of Wednesday's overtime win over Oklahoma City, it has been three straight games for Los Angeles where they have had to play in overtime. While the Lakers have won six straight games, James has played heavy minutes in the past three games due to them going to overtime in each of them.

Despite being 36 years old and in his 18th season in the NBA with a ton of mileage, James hasn't shown any signs of being fatigued this season. James was even able to make the three-pointer that forced overtime on Wednesday.
The superstar forward has been on the injury report for the Lakers nearly all season with an ankle injury. However, James has yet to miss a single game this season despite most people thinking he'd rest in certain games.
Of course, the Lakers would prefer to avoid having to play in overtime games due to the short offseason they had amid the COVID-19 pandemic. But if they do have to play beyond regulation in games, they are confident that James is going to be more than prepared to play 40-plus minutes when needed.
