Anthony Davis' last second-heroics on Sunday was reminiscent of the late great Kobe Bryant, according to Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel.
While the final play was initially intended for the Lakers'other superstar LeBron James, Vogel praised AD for hitting a “Mamba shot” to give his team a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference Finals series.

The Lakers once again honored Bryant's legacy on Sunday after donning their Black Mamba alternate uniforms against the Nuggets.
Bean would have been certainly proud of the Lakers'current ensemble, as they remained unbeaten in the postseason while wearing those slick uniforms.

Anthony Davis himself said post-game that he will not allow his team to lose while wearing those Bryant-inspired threads.
Frank Vogel, meanwhile, aired the same sentiments and claimed that the black jerseys signify so much more than just paying tribute to the fallen NBA icon.

Kobe Bryant, of course, bailed the Lakers out multiple times with amazing game-winners throughout his storied 20-year NBA career.
His shocking death last January continues to be felt around the world. The Lakers are dedicating this campaign in his honor and are hoping to commemorate his greatness by winning the Larry O'Brien trophy this season.
Bryant is no doubt the most beloved superstar in the franchise's rich history, winning five titles for the city of Los Angeles.
Anthony Davis, meanwhile, is just in his first year as Laker. However, he already embodies the greatness that comes with playing with the most popular sports franchise in all of sports.
The Brow tallied Mamba-like numbers in Game 2, finishing with 31 points on 11-of-23 shooting from the field and 2-of-4 from downtown. He also scattered nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 39 minutes.
