There is now very little doubt about how the Los Angeles Lakers are currently in a state of turmoil. So much is now riding on the shoulders of team owner Jeanie Buss, and the pressure must be extremely high at this point.

However, there are still a lot of people who believe Buss is more than capable of getting the Lakers out of their current unpleasant situation. One such believer is none other than NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who apparently continues to have an unwavering faith in Buss and her abilities:

The recent resignation of president Magic Johnson was a blatant sign that the Lakers were a sinking ship, and there has been plenty of other drama as well, including a rocky coaching search, Magic's accusations leveled against general manager Rob Pelinka and a recent bombshell report detailing the dysfunction within the organization.

One important thing the team has going for them is they still have LeBron James on their roster. Despite all the negative storylines surrounding the club, LeBron is still one of the best players in the game today. It was indeed a forgettable first season for James in Hollywood., but at this point, there's nowhere to go but up for the three-time NBA champ and his Lakers.

Los Angeles is in line to potentially have a big summer, with the opportunity to add a star or two to play alongside LeBron. If that happens, the Lakers can get back on track quickly. If it doesn't, though, the issues could continue.
