Though they've dropped three consecutive games, James and the Lakers are off to a great start to this season, as their 24-6 overall record can attest.

There was some fear that James and Anthony Davis would be held out of their Christmas Day matchup against the Clippers, as both are listed with minor injuries. James has been dealing with a muscle strain near his rib cage. Davis bent his knee awkwardly in Sunday's game against the Nuggets. Despite these facts, both are expected to play.
James' point production is down a tick this season, but he's dishing out assists at a career-high rate. He's made 29 appearances in this campaign, racking up averages of 25.8 points on 49.6 percent shooting from the field (35.6 percent from beyond the arc), 10.6 assists, 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 34.8 minutes per outing.
Wednesday's matchup between the Lakers and Clippers is scheduled to tip inside the Staples Center at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, with ABC having live broadcast coverage.
