Kobe Bryant is cut from a different cloth. He's different from most NBA players. Usually, Kobe's eccentricities are most evident in his on-court demeanor and competitive nature. But this is not one of those times.

According to Lee Jenkins of Sports Illustrated, Kobe has a jingle about Celtics head coach, Brad Stevens recorded on his phone. The jingle is as follows:

“You can see what happens, I can see why, I can see adjustments made in real time.

You can see who's open, I can tell you how and why, For this is a game of the mind.”

This is definitely a weird move from Bryant. He's such a basketball junkie that he comes up with catchy NBA-related jingles. This is reminiscent of elementary school when teachers would create jingles to help their students remember math equations. Kobe created a mnemonic device to remind himself that Brad Stevens is an incredible coach.

In reality, Kobe is working on these types of jingles for his new project for ESPN, Musecage. While this is the explanation for Bryant's Brad Stevens jingle, it doesn't get any less weird.

Musecage looks like a children's show for overly competitive toddlers. Who knows what type of audience ESPN is going for with this project, but it's—different.

At one point, Bryant tried his hand at rapping, but eventually decided to focus on basketball. Maybe since his rap career never took off, he's just looking to get his launch in the music business in a different way.

That can be the only explanation for this exceptionally weird story.
