Los Angeles Lakers second-year swingman Kyle Kuzma says superstar small forward LeBron James didn't address the team about his Anthony Davis comments.
Earlier in the week, James said it would be incredible to play with Davis in LA. Davis is still under contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, so for AD to get on the Lakers, there would need to be a trade.
Some believe LeBron shouldn't have said that because it would be taken the wrong way by his teammates. There has also been some complaining from executives around the league.
Kuzma, however, doesn't care, as he knows pretty much everyone in the league would have said the same thing:
Kyle Kuzma was asked if LeBron James said anything to team about his comments on wanting to play with Anthony Davis: "Nope. Not at all. Just to you guys."

Kuzma on James saying something about a player he wants to play with: “I mean, who wouldn’t want to play with him (AD). I’m sure I would want to play with him too. He’s a top-five player in the league. Michael Jordan would probably want to play with him. Everybody does.”

Kyle Kuzma is right. Who wouldn't want to play with Anthony Davis? He is arguably the best big man in the game. The only reason this is news is because it's LeBron James and the Lakers. Davis has been linked to joining LeBron in LA ever since he signed with James' agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
Davis can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020. The former No. 1 overall pick can sign a supermax extension with the Pelicans after this season. If Davis declines the supermax contract from New Orleans, the Pelicans might have to trade the superstar so they don't lose him for nothing in free agency.
Anthony Davis rumors to the Lakers aren't going to stop until either he gets traded or he signs an extension. Kyle Kuzma, LeBron James and the rest of the players in LA just have to hope reporters stop asking them questions about it.
