For Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, speaking out on the social injustices in the US is something that's innate in him. And he's proud of that fact.

After their scrimmage against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, James shared his thoughts on the racial and social injustice that's been hounding the country. James is one of the most outspoken celebrities on the matter.

James reiterated the message of most NBA players on Breonna Taylor — an African-American emergency medical technician — who was fatally shot eight times by Louisville police in March. James wants justice for Taylor and the family she left behind.

Players like Kyle Kuzma, Tobias Harris, Paul George, Alex Caruso, Marcus Smart, C.J. McCollum, among others, have used their platform and media availability to let the people know about Breonna Taylor's story.

In fact, Harris made the headlines for outrightly ignoring the questions by the media to talk about Taylor. James gave Harris a salute for his antics:

Clippers star Paul George did the same, dedicating his whole media availability to share his thoughts on Taylor and the social injustice going on.

While the NBA was laying out its plans for the NBA season restart, several players and even fans were against it. They believed that basketball might serve as a distraction from everything that's happening in the country.

But so far, this hasn't been the case at all. With James — arguably the biggest basketball player today — leading the way, basketball fans are not just being treated with some sports action. They are also getting a view of social injustice is gravely affecting people's lives all across the nation.
