Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play on Saturday against the Golden State Warriors in the team's first preseason game.
It's the first time Lakers fans will get to see their new dynamic duo in action.
Frank Vogel won’t divulge his preseason opening starting lineup except to say LeBron and Anthony Davis will play.

In his first season with the Lakers, LeBron James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 55 games while shooting 51.0 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The four-time MVP missed 17 consecutive games due to a groin injury he suffered on Christmas against the Warriors at Oracle Arena. Had James not sustained that injury, the Lakers probably make the playoffs last season.
For the New Orleans Pelicans, Anthony Davis put up 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 blocks in 56 games. The six-time All-Star shot 51.7 percent from the floor, 33.1 percent from the 3-point line and 79.4 percent from the charity stripe.
James and Davis' chemistry will take time to build. The Lakers aren't expecting The King and The Brow to know how to play with one another right way. That's what training camp and preseason action are for.
Lakers head coach Frank Vogel has been starting Rajon Rondo, Danny Green and JaVale McGee alongside LeBron and Davis in practices. We'll see if that's the starting five Vogel throws out on Saturday against the Warriors.
