The Los Angeles Lakers return to action in their first game after the All-Star break on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. The defending champs will officially get the second half of their season underway and for LeBron James, the four-time league MVP is all systems go for the rest of the way.
LeBron has come out with a warning for the rest of the league as he declares his state of mind for the second half of the campaign with the Lakers:
LeBron James: "It's go time for me" for the second half of the NBA season.

Over the course of the first half of the season, LeBron has put up averages of 25.8 points (on 50.9 percent shooting), 8.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.1 steals for the Lakers, while also connecting on 2.4 triples per game. He's been his usual dominant self thus far, but as it turns out, he appears to have been saving his strength for the second half of the campaign.

It is also worth noting that James has only missed one out of L.A.'s 37 games this season, with his absence taking place in the Lakers' final game prior to the break.
L.A. has struggled of late in the absence of Anthony Davis, who at this point, remains out due to a calf injury. AD was given a four-week recovery timetable in mid-February, which means that barring any setbacks, the Lakers will still be without their prized big man for at least one more week.
James has been carrying the team's burden sans Davis, and it hasn't translated to wins for the Lakers. They won just three out of their last 10 games prior to the mid-season break.
Nonetheless, LeBron appears to be ready to go for the second half of the season, as the Lakers look to defend their crown against a number of formidable challengers in this 72-game campaign unfolding in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and its adjusted schedule.
