Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and guard Alex Caruso pulled off a little Showtime with an incredible hookup late in the first half of Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns. On a fast break, Caruso tossed a pass off the backboard to LeBron, who finished emphatically.

While LeBron and Caruso pulled off this play and the Lakers led by as many as 11 points in the first half, it was actually the Suns taking a 54-50 lead into halftime despite Chris Paul still being hobbled by his shoulder injury. Paul has looked a bit better compared to the past few games, but he's still limited offensively.

The Lakers are also dealing with their own injury issues. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is out for Game 4, and Anthony Davis suffered an injury at the tail end of the first half after entering the game with a knee issue. Davis didn't start the second half and is out for the remainder of Game 4 due to a groin injury, so this is going to be a situation to monitor moving forward.
Los Angeles is trying to take a commanding 3-1 series lead after losing Game 1. LeBron and Davis looked more like themselves in Games 2 and 3 after the disappointing performance in that first game, but now the Lakers will have to dig deep without AD.
Meanwhile, the Suns are battling to save their season after they earned the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. The timing of the Paul injury couldn't be any worse, but this is a deep team with a lot of talent. They're not going to go down without a fight, and a Game 4 win heading back to Phoenix would make things really interesting.
That's especially true with Davis now hurting once again. The Lakers will have to rely a lot on LeBron and their championship mettle to come back in Game 4 and win this series if Davis misses time.
