Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James may no longer be in Cleveland, but he remains supportive of the hometown teams–including the Cleveland Browns. The King showed just that as he cheered for Baker Mayfield and Co. in their game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

On Twitter, James expressed how hyped he is after watching the Browns take a huge 22-10 lead in the first half of the contest. Three rushing touchdowns from Nick Chubb and Jarvis Landry propelled Cleveland to the solid lead, prompting the Lakers forward and Akron's son to celebrate.

While LeBron James has been known as a Dallas Cowboys fan, he has long proven that his loyalty remains in Cleveland and with the Browns. In fact, the Lakers superstar has been keeping an eye on everything the team does, showing his support when he needs to like when the club released their 75th anniversary jerseys for the 2021 season.

It's not surprising  for LeBron to get hyped for the Browns against the Chiefs, too. After all, Mahomes and Kansas City are formidable opponents who look hungrier than ever after their Super Bowl loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.

Just like James, the rest of Cleveland are undoubtedly ecstatic to see their home team play well against a contender like the Chiefs. If they can build from such performance, the rest of the 2021 campaign will certainly look brighter than ever.

LeBron, for his part, will surely keep watching even when the Lakers begin their 2021-22 NBA season.
