The Brooklyn Nets are the odds-on favorites to win it all in 2021-22, thanks to their Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James harden. However, if you ask Nick Young, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are more than capable of taking the title again.
According to Young, the key for the Lakers is to stay healthy. If they are able to do so, then their size might prove to be too much for the Nets.
Lakers winning it all if healthy they might be to big for the Nets “pause”

Of course that is a big “IF” for the Lakers. After all, considering that Rob Pelinka and Co. filled the roster with a slew of veteran players–a lot of whom are 35 and above–there have been concerns whether the squad is built for an 82-game season.

LeBron James and his teammates have already fired back at the talks that they are too old. Nonetheless, their health is a legitimate concern given that it was the major issue for them this past campaign.
If they do stay healthy and enter the 2022 playoffs with fresh legs, though, then what Nick Young is saying could come true. They have their own Big 3 in LeBron, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis–group that is definitely complementary of each other since it brings a good mix of offense, defense and playmaking.
The Lakers are set for another tough season in the Western Conference, with the likes of the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors remaining as threats. With that said, they should probably think about surviving the grueling campaign first before thinking of the Larry O'Brien trophy.
