It's been a strange year for LeBron James, who missed his first NBA Finals appearance since 2010. While the future Hall of Famer and Los Angeles Lakers star gears up for another tedious season, he's got one thing on his mind: tacos.

James tweeted on Tuesday afternoon reminding his 40+ million Twitter followers that it's “Taco Tuesday” — LeBron's self-made weekly holiday celebrating the consumption of the traditional Mexican culinary dish made with a tortilla filled with items like meat, vegetables, rice, beans, and whatever else one's heart desires.

This week has seen James celebrate the one-year anniversary of opening his I Promise School, which was established on July 30, 2018, in Akron, Ohio. The educational institution is supported by the LeBron James Family Foundation. Supporting hundreds of enrolled students must leave a three-time NBA champion famished, it would look like.

Sure enough, it's not the first time that LeBron celebrated “Taco Tuesday.” In fact, he celebrated his made-up holiday on the set of Space Jam 2 last week, all while teasing fans with their basketball jersey on the movie.

Recently, LBJ has received some dubious scrutiny over his high-energy baseline celebrations to Bronny James' amateur basketball exploits; however, it seems the Lakers superstar is not one bit affected by it.
