LeBron James is most well-known for being one of the greatest basketball players of all time, but he's much more than an athlete. His new docuseries with the fitting name, “More Than An Athlete,” will provide an in-depth look at James' rise from a basketball star to one of the most famous athletes in the world. Paul Melvin of ESPN Media Zone writes:

More Than An Athlete is an eight-episode series examines the various stages and moments of LeBron James’ journey from basketball prodigy to global sports icon, businessman and philanthropist through the lens of the unique bonds of friendship and partnership which forged between four men over more than two decades – James, Carter, Randy Mims and Rich Paul.

The series debuts on Nov. 20 and the first episode will set the stage for the rest of the series. Episode 1 will also take a look at James' most recent philanthropic act, the I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
