Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James couldn't hide his excitement for the upcoming season after experiencing his first game playing alongside Anthony Davis.
James called Davis a “monster”, after the latter put up a dominant performance in their first preseason game against the Golden State Warriors.

Anthony Davis had a dominant performance in his debut for the Purple and Gold. The first overall pick of the 2012 draft top-scored for Los Angeles with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting. He also added 10 rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes of action.
LeBron James also did a lot of damage on Saturday, especially with his playmaking. He finished his night with 15 points and eight assists and shot 5-of-10 from the field.
The Lakers raced out of the gates in the first quarter. They by as much as 17 points in the opening frame with LeBron and Davis leading the chaerge. Davis dropped 17 of his 22 markers in the first, while James took care of quarterbacking for the Hollywood-based squad. Los Angeles never looked back and went on to defeat the Warriors, 121-103.
James and Davis displayed incredible chemistry from the get go, with the two connecting on a number of occasions. It's scary to think that this is their first game playing together. The superstar pairing with only get much better in time.
So far, so good for the new-look Lakers. Obviously, there is a lot of work to be done throughout the season. Still, Lakers fans, have to be encouraged – and pumped as LeBron James was – with what they saw from their favorite team on Saturday night.
