Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James wants power forward Anthony Davis to build off his 3-point shooting performance on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Davis hit a season-high four 3-pointers versus the Thunder. James says he wants AD to “take more 3s” moving forward.

After Friday's game against the Thunder, Davis is now shooting 34.1 percent from beyond the arc. The six-time All-Star is averaging 25.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 blocks while shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Behind Davis and James, the Lakers are 13-2 on the season. They currently have the best record in the NBA. The more comfortable Davis gets from the 3-point line, the more dangerous the Lakers become on offense. AD is already impossible to defend in the post. With the way LeBron collapses defenses on his drives to the hoop, Davis is going to feast from beyond the arc.
The Lakers have won six games in a row. They will look to make it seven straight on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
