Following the release of his brother, LiAngelo, in China, Lonzo Ball has given his reaction to it recently. The Los Angeles Lakers rookie made it known that he is happy he is back with their family, and is also hoping that he learns from the mistake he made, according to Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet.

The younger Ball made a lot of headlines when he was arrested last week in Hangzhou for allegedly shoplifting inside a Louis Vuitton store, together with two of his UCLA teammates. He was detained and questioned about the incident, until president Donald Trump recently made a call to Chinese president Xi Jinping to allow him to depart the Asian country and head back to the U.S.

Fans of the Lakers were worried that the news about LiAngelo may serve as a distraction to Lonzo, who was already struggling with his shooting before he recorded a triple-double on Saturday, becoming the youngest in NBA history to achieve the feat. However, he returned to his usual production on Monday, as he only produced seven points, on 3-of-10 shooting from the field, five rebounds and five assists versus the Phoenix Suns.

Now with his brother's release, it could clear his mind knowing that he is already back home, and may lead to better performances in their coming games. After snapping a three-game losing streak, the Lakers will need him at his best in order to help them string a few wins together, and get back to their winning ways the soonest.
