Rajon Rondo was fined $35,000 for his actions during the Los Angeles Lakers' 130-127 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.

Rondo, who was ejected following a flagrant foul 2 on Thunder guard Dennis Schroder, was fined for verbal abuse and not leaving the court in a timely manner. The veteran says he felt disrespected by Ed Malloy when the official pointed in his face:

Lakers superstar LeBron James didn't agree with Rondo's ejection:

“I didn't think it called for an ejection, but the refs have to do what they feel best fits,” James said after the game, via ESPN. “But, you know, I didn't think it called for an ejection.”

In five games this season for the Lakers, Rondo is averaging 7.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 38.2 percent from the field, 40.0 percent from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers have the best record in the NBA at 13-2.

James is averaging 24.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 11.3 assists on the season. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is shooting 48.6 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 70.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Anthony Davis, meanwhile, is putting up 25.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 blocks on the season for the Lakers while shooting 48.1 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from beyond the arc and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.
