Rapper and Los Angeles Lakers fan Snoop Dogg named his L.A. sports Mount Rushmore, paying respects to legends of old and modern icons.

Snoop also split his list with a pair of men and women. Lakers legends Magic Johnson and the late Kobe Bryant made Snoop's list, while former Los Angeles Sparks superstar and former USC great Cheryl Miller held it down for the ladies.

It comes as no surprise Snoop chose four hoopers, especially these four.

Magic is one of the seminal figures in NBA history. He and Larry Bird helped globalize the sport in the 1980s, and Johnson's impact off the floor was every bit as resonant as his dominance as a revolutionary, 6-foot-9 point guard who played with inimitable flash and charisma.

Whereas Magic held that Lakers torch for years, he had no choice but to cede it to Kobe in the 2000s, as Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal would spark a new Lakers dynasty by winning three consecutive championships. The Black Mamba then won two more titles in 2009 and 2010 without Shaq, and he became a media mogul and emphatic supporter of young women prior to his tragic death in a helicopter accident this past January.

Leslie finished her career as a three-time WNBA MVP and two-time Defensive Player of the Year. She won multiple titles with the Sparks and became the first woman to dunk in a basketball game. She was also the first woman to have her own statue outside Staples Center.

Miller, the older sister of NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, was a legend with the USC Trojans before a knee injury cut her promising career short at just 22 years old. Still, Reggie and plenty others in the basketball community have spoken at length about how dominant Cheryl was in her heyday.
