Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis was caught on camera trimming his toenails on the team's bench midway through their final preseason game against the Phoenix Suns. It wasn't a common sight for fans to see during a game which led to the clip immediately making rounds on Twitter right after.

The seven-time All-Star didn't suit up in the Lakers' first two preseason games against the Los Angeles Clippers. He finally appeared in their third encounter against a new opponent in the Suns where he played sparingly and only came out with 10 points and four rebounds in 17 minutes.
In the following game against the same opponent, both teams finally saw a more competitive tilt this time around. The Lakers managed to bounce back after a sloppy first quarter by way of huge scoring outputs in the second and third frames of the game.

Perhaps, the trimming of nails made all the difference for Davis as he topped the Lakers in scoring after exploding for 35 points, six rebounds, and three blocks while his running mate in LeBron James added 20 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the game.
Key defensive stops in the fourth quarter eventually lifted the Purple and Gold over the revamped Suns who played without veteran playmaker Chris Paul. All-Star shooting guard Devin Booker bannered the opposition with tallies of 27 points, five rebounds, and eight assists but still came up short as they lost on a 114-113 outcome.
With a perfect 4-0 slate in preseason games, Anthony Davis and the rest of the Lakers will aim to carry over the momentum as they face the real test on Dec. 22 as they match up against the Clippers for their regular season opener.
