On Monday, Vanessa Bryant made her first public appearance since the passing of her husband, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and her promising young daughter, Gigi Bryant. The memorial for Kobe and Gigi was held at Staples Center with fans and countless NBA stars of past and present being able to mourn together in the house he built along with Shaquille O'Neal.
Although it must've been incredibly and challenging to hold it together, Vanessa was brave enough to get on stage and eulogize her husband and daughter. The wife of the NBA icon spoke at length about what both of them meant to her with a heartfelt speech.
Vanessa Bryant remembers Kobe: “Babe, take care of our Gigi. And I got Nani, Bibi and Coco. We’re still the best team.”
